Eugene, Heather’s hubby….These two are amazing.  They make you laugh and make you feel so comfortable.  I got to watch them both this weekend at a wedding making a video for the happy couple.  I have seen a couple of their videos and have read their blog.  They’re based out of Nashville, TN and have an amazing business that is taken off in front of their eyes.  If I would have know them before my wedding I would have had them do my wedding…..but getting to know them now is just fine.  I wish both of these the best and that God will continue to bless them in there business…..go check them out at 2duce2.com.

Another great thing is they let me play with their Nikon D-80 camera until this happen….

Matt took over the camera…..so I didn’t get to take all the pictures that I really wanted to have….but at least I got some good ones on my own little digital….

Busy But Good August 10, 2008

So it has been a crazy busy the last four days but some very good news with some bad.  Well first things first I GOT A JOB….YES!  Finally after three months of being unemployed I got a job as a server at the Olive Garden….and who knows maybe some other jobs will call and some more opportunities will come that will provide a more reliable pay check but i’m blessed to even have a job….to be honest the budget was very low i mean really low and i was scared….but God came through…like He always does.  So if you ever eat at the Olive Garden in Terre Haute in about a week I think I should be a full time server after my training.  Also I have now a teachers sub license so hopefully I will get to be around my passion of children again soon.  Well the business has been staying at home becuase Jon’s tire went flat and he has drove my car….so I have been doing a lot of cleaning and finguring out some new ways to cook since we still don’t have a lot of money.  Well cleaning involves laundry well my dryer stopped working so I had clothing hanging all of the apartment.  I called my dad to ask about what could be wrong and he said the switch probably broke so he and mom would come on sunday to fix it.  So today had some great moments…..my niece got confirmed at church…..YEA!!! Went out to eat with Jon’s family to celebrate and jon’s sister paid….thanks for the birthday lunch….(jon’s bday aug 19th, mine aug 24th, and samson, our dog aug 14th) Then my parents showed up and came in with tools…dad looked at it and said well it’s broke and then said let’s get it out of here…..and then he said…”Jon help me carry this out and carry in the new dryer…..Jon and I said WHAT!” To our huge shock my parents bought us a new dryer….wow, huge blessing.  This day has been filled with blessings.  Thanks to everyone who has been praying for me to find a job, it means a lot…..Also I know that I will still be searching for the true passion in my heart in working with children so please keep the prayers going to God will place me in the right place.  Love you all and I hope GOd is changing your lives daily like He is changing mind into a new form of butterfly.

Part-time job in ministry if move to Nashville

Daycare….full time sub teacher and floater in Indy if move

And the rest…

Haven’t heard back from 7 other positions at ISU, many other churches I applied at, many other places here in terre haute, and many other things but I can’t remember everything I applied for…. So I’m been thinking what is wrong with me and why doesn’t anyone want me.  And my degree has done nothing to help….I almost want to go back and get and RN degree just so I know I will get a job anywhere.  Or I’m about to start my own job here soon if people would hire me for cleaning their house and watching their children too.

A Night Of Laughter July 30, 2008

A story told by photos….This is our dog…Samson

He likes to go on walks….a bunch of walks….

Well after going on walks and when he has been a good boy, which is a lot, he gets a special treat.  Well last night I decided to make our little doggy some little pancakes for him.  I ripped them into small pieces to help Samson chew.  Jon and I sit down to watch a movie and I gave Samson his pancakes (pieces that is) and next thing I know he walks into the living room whinning and looking like this…..

(I made red pancakes) JOn and I are laughing so hard and can’t believe that Samson has every piece stuffed inside his mouth.  Then after about 30 minutes of trying to find a place to hide the pancakes. Samson hides half of them in the corner of our couch and the other half on our bedroom floor….I think he just got tired of holding them in his mouth.  THe best part was when he came back and sit on the floor next to me and Jon got a photo of Samson doing this….

I never knew that he could lick his nose like that….it is nasty really.

Well that is the story of the morning about a night of laughter….ps I loved the thunderstorm last night!

Fireworks May 15, 2008

I’m so excited I feel like a little kid in a candy store……but to me it is a firework store.  So today my best friend Molly and I went shopping to get sample colors for her wedding…..sidenote Molly is my maid of honor in my wedding and i’m in hers, it’s so fun and i’m happy she is married such a great man……anyway, after the wedding colors we went to Dollar Tree(yes that is right you Dollar Tree shoppers, they carry fireworks) and find fireworks….sweet! So Molly and I got a huge smile on our faces and went back to memory lane.  Molly got a box of poppers….poppers are where you throw a little ball of gun powder that is wrapped tightly in a tissue  on a hard surface and it makes a  popping noise.  This is so much fun……but my favorite thing is what I bought.  I got Sparklers!!!! I love Sparklers.  I can’t wait until the sun goes down.  To be able to write my name and watch the light burst out and move around.  It’s going to be so much fun.  I highly recommend that you all get 3 to 4 boxes of Sparklers yourself because you will not be satisfied with 1.

Little Things May 14, 2008

This is my little dog Samson.  He is the littlest thing that makes me smile and laugh.  He is such a little comedian.  He is my little friend who has always been there for me.  I have had Samson for over a year now.  I got him to help me realize that I’m not alone.  And his name is Samson from the bible.  It is to remind me to stay strong and focus on God.  My dog has lived up to his name for sure.  Honestly I think he thinks he is a huge dog.  He is always up in everyone’s business.  And he has a loud bark for such a small dog.  He protects me and loves me.  He cuddles on my lap especially when I need him the most.  I love how God created such amazing creatures to be apart of us.  And that it is our responsibly to take care of his creations.  I’m so thankful for everything that God is given me.  And that I had the money to buy Samson a year ago.  My dog has taught me so much and makes me smile and laugh.  And most of all he reminds me that God is there to keep me strong.

The picture is a little stuffed animal I got at hallmark that looks just like my dog.  And my brother Josh, got my dog a hotdog costume.  I just thought it was really cute and funny.
